Day One: Upon check in, enjoy complimentary champagne in your room. Take a leisurely stroll along the Yampa River before being driven to the Strawberry Park Hot Springs for a couple’s massage and invigorating soak in the hot pools. Return to town for a picnic lunch at the Yampa River Botanic Park, catered by Backcountry Provisions. Take a few hours to explore, shop and spend time together. Finally, enjoy an evening of Chef Marco Pauvert’s exquisite French Cuisine as he prepares a romantic dinner for two at The Epicurean Café.
Day Two: Something truly special awaits you as you greet the morning from among the clouds and experience the oldest form of human flight…a Hot Air Balloon ride. After the courtesy shuttle brings you to the launch site you will soar above the Yampa Valley for a birds eye view of the mountains, skim the tree tops, and perhaps enjoy a “splash down” as your pilot lowers the balloon to touch the surface of the water before returning to the sky. Finish your morning with a Champagne Celebration and personalized Flight Diploma to commemorate the day. With nearly 30 years of mountain flying experience, FAA Certified Pilot Ian Cox and his professional staff guarantee that this will be the “high point” of your trip.
